Undocumented folks who enjoy all the privileges of citizenship without going through the onerous process of attaining it legally have very little to complain about.
"It's important, then, to support the alternative theist viewpoint: That caring for the environment is an important tenet of religious belief . . .."
And it's important in and of itself...
The entire “stop global warming” enterprise
Is quite beyond simple power of belief,
So its implementation
Requires artful creation
Of dire humankind induced consequences from which the globe will (some day) need relief.
Surely, cleaning up after oneself is a virtue
That needs to be practiced each day
Because it’s the right thing to do
And that’s quite enough about it to say .
Keeping the atmosphere free of smog, for example,
Involves problems that have a rational solution--
And the desirability of a smog-free environment
Is clear to anyone who’s experienced smog-pollution.
So promoting the understandable, achievable, intrinsically worthy goal
Of keeping oneself and local environments (everywhere) clean
Would do more to encourage universal cleansing than threatening dire(ostensibly controllable, Mann-made) “global warming” effects--
The motivational device toward which folks like Algore, the EPA and Obama lean.***
If there is reason to believe
That talking kids out of gayness is doable
Then by all means it should be given a shot--
A goal imminently pursuable.
However, that approach
Has not yet been fully validated
And like Obama's approach to health care
To the dust bin of history relegated.
If only some .org would take on the task
Of defining, computing, publishing, and explaining
An index of "average global temperature" (daily),
On the whole from those in denial there might be less complaining.
