Garret Barnwell

I am currently doing my MA in Conflict, Transformation and Management and working as a research assistant in the Department of Psychology at NMMU. I am doing my research on the relationship between root causes of forced migration and traumatic stress amongst Somali Refugees. My aim is to eventually sustain myself enough to devote my entire working day to the humanitarian sector. I try to approach life and people with a philosophy of humanity and open dialogue but essentially believe that actions speak louder than words.
