  • The Vatican is Looking to See if 59,000 Nuns Support Homosexuality

Welcoming all is not what Jesus taught.  That pious sentimentality is dishonest.  All who come to Christ, He will not cast out.  But coming to Christ involves obedience.  "If you love Me, you will keep my commandments."  The Christian Faith, the Catholic Faith, is deeper than the bywords of this Age would have you believe.  It is the wisdom of God, not sentimentality.  It is allowing God to transform you and to give you the power (the virtues) of Love, Faith, Hope, Humility, Chastity, Patience and all the other powers that make it possible to traverse this time/space we are in, this trial to weigh our hearts and minds to see who we are really for.  You can not serve/love God and not resist immorality.  Going to the MCC and feeling good and being nice and having others be nice to you isn't what this life is about.

The Episcopal church, Lutheran church, Methodist church and sundry other offsprings of the so-called Reformation are all democracies now, all subject to invasion and take-overs.  All having abandoned or preparing to abandon the Gospel.

  • Despite what Church Says, Many Catholics Support Same-Sex Marriage

I notice the comments are coming from people who have no real understanding of the Catholic Faith. Insults, false accusations, dramatic emphases...none of these things touch the truth of this matter.  The truth of the matter is that there is no way the Catholic Church will follow in the footsteps of the offspring of the Protestant 'Reformation.'  Thanks be to God!  If there are persons out there who alledge that they are catholics but who deny the solemn teachings of the Church and agree with the folks commenting here that the leadership of the Church is out of touch, they are the ones who ought to consider more hospitable territory, maybe with the Episcopals.  If they think that they will stay and eventually undermine the Church's Sacred Tradition and Her Apostolic Teaching, they are wrong.  At some point God will supply those holy persons to rise to the defense of the Church.  I dare say that there are many millions awakening. Awake, you sleepers, Arise and put on Christ.

The Catholic Church is not a democracy.  The attitude of the religious who take vows or promises of poverty, chastity and obedience ought to be one of humility.  The virtue of humility is not favored in our capitalistic democratic society.  If it were our history would not have the horrid marks of genocide, human slavery, foreign meddling that it does.  If the sisters are put out, they need to think about whether they are fit to be in.  Religious life is not a career.  Religious life is a quest for union with God.  While doing good on earth, one's mind and heart are where Christ is seated at the Right Hand of the Father.
