Monica Oblitas

- I am Bolivian and I was born in La Paz. I studied Communication and Media and I have a technical degree in journalism and photography.
- I began to practice Journalism in 1996. Since then I started to diversify my work in different areas, especially social, cultural and political.
- Currently and for over 8 years, I work as an editor, journalist and photographer of the weekly magazine ¡OH! of ‘Los Tiempos’ newspaper and as a permanent collaborator for the magazine Extra of the newspaper ‘El Deber’. These magazines are issue in most areas of the country.
-I have completed courses at the Andean University Simón Bolívar, the University Complutense of Madrid, the International Women´s Media Foundation, the International Center for Higher Education in Communication for Latin America, the Bolivian Center of Multidisciplinary Studies and the ‘Centro Knight’ for the Journalism in the Americas.
