I believe that all war is a crime against humanity. I am an active member of St. Augustine People for Peace and Justice and Veterans For Peace. I believe that social injustice in all of its forms and the resulting wars are the consequences of the deliberate acts of those few who own most of the world's resources to keep the working people of the world divided and result from the deliberate acts of those few to send the workers of one country to kill the workers of another for their own profit. I believe there is no such thing as an "illegal" worker - all work has dignity and all workers deserve respect. Quality housing, food, medical care, education, respect and hope are the basic rights of every individual. We must begin to rebuild our communities, our country and the world. Workers must take control of the means of production and run our work places to the benefit of ourselves, our families, our community and our environment.
