Turk commented on the article |Although my SAT's were near a thousand, I wasn't even encouraged to go to colledge. The prejudice toward students with limited mental abilities is wrong. I'm an environmental studies major with a miner in fashion design and have only fayled a hand full of classes due my unability to understand the material or what they were talking about. The system needs to change and allow people of all intellectual abillities to get a degree and a beeter life.

The only motivation for number crunchers in government to cover the costs of education is obviously racism! And anyone who disagrees with that is also a racist. I see racists everywhere I look.

Turk commented on the article |I'm looking forward to the excuses for why the train isn't running profitably in 20 years. By then, California will be empty of businesses and taxpayers to pay for it and theyll be towing it with donkeys. It'll be the "Green" high speed train because it won't consume fossil fuels. I Love California!

Turk commented on the article |Hi Tamara - I think I understand where we differ. I want to err on the side of liberty and you want to err on the side of equality. You may not (or maybe you know) know of the destructive forces that are unleashed and have been unleashed throughout history under the noble intentions of equality, but at least we know where we differ in opinion.

Tamara - uh...I said "pretending ghetto could only refer to one race is racist"...that is...well...saying that it's related to race...just not related to only one race and in fact the term ghetto is used inappropriately, most of the time. If you feel the need to police every comedian's motivations based on their words I think you're going to get an ulser and eventually a dishonest conversation. Avoiding words may make us feel better but eventually our vocabulary is reduced to Orwellian distopia.
