Disabled Veteran, USAF (Active Duty) 11 yrs and (Reserves) 3.9 yrs
VA Diagnosed PTSD and HIV Positive, both Service Connected
I have not been able to Work Since 2001. Countless jobs, Drugs, Problems with the Law, Attempting Suicide Several Times, and Family Problems, major Mental Health Problems since I got out of the Service Active Duty in 1995. I continue to have Alcoholic and Mental Health Problems now, unable to deal with what happen to me by a NCO Service Member (Air Force & Working Intelligence) in 1985; me being Nieve, junior enlisted, and a Virgin. Since then, I have suffered alot and since 2004, I have tried to get help and the VA has made me pay way more than I ever would desire for not saying something at the time and having to not say anything because of the NCO's position/rank.
