From Sina website news:-
"....The police said some shareholders and executives of the Hilton had brazenly "refused to correct their gangster behavior despite previous warnings from the police", the statement read, and have "tarnished the image of Chongqing very severely"."
Great job, I had signed your petition.
In Singapore we have huge influx of foreign women ( PRC, Sri Lanka, Vietnamese, Thailand, Phillipines, etc. ) soliciting publicly in sex activities. Some of these women are youths and controlled by pimps.
Budget hotels such as the one depicted in the following videos persisting cater room service to sex rings of which some of the women are younger than 18 years old or in their teens. When these women are arrested, the hotel operator and pimps will continue to cater their services .:-

( P.S. recently the vice activites had ceased but the budget hotel is still operating. )
Now, there are also sex rings or agents operating in some of pubs along the streets of Geylang Road in Singapore. Some of the girls ( from Vietnam ) look like school-going kids are being watched over by pimps as the girls stand and solicit along pubs area. Perhaps, foreign reporters will have better understanding if they visit the pubs at 511, Guillemard Road or at lorong 44, 42, 40, 41 of Geylang Road.
We had feedback the problems to the authorities, but then some of the pubs continue to operate like flesh market where pub-going males 'shop' for the poor Vietnamese girls.
We hope the international agency/agencies will help to investigate the problems.
Thanks.
Hi Amanda Klore,
Thanks for your kind attention. I wish to express my appreciation and admiration of your numerous contributions to the society and humanity.
In Singapore, the laws is such that prostitution is legal as with licensed brothels, while soliciting of commercial sex is not (as with street prostitutes ).
Street prostitution are rampant in some areas in Singapore.
In the said Sri Lankan prostitution videos, these women are watched over by more than 10 male pimps as we can see in the videos. After the women manage to solicit the clients, they will go to the said hotel ( Chang Ziang Hotel ) to transact their deals. The hotel operator/staff know about these illegal prostitution activities conducted within their rooms, yet remain ignoring residents' complaints of the sleaze and crimes that are attracted.
The authorities have conducted several raids and arrests in the hotel and other affected areas, but so far our appeals to investigate on these Sri Lankan prostitution rings received no positive replies or none at all. We also notice that among these women, there are teenagers.
There are more than 10 of such budget hotels providing hourly rated or short hours rated room services which are attracting more street prostitution and pimps into the residential areas and even in non-red light district.
We believe that such pimps and budget hotels so be dealt with by the authorities instead of just arresting the women who may be too fearful of these pimps.
Our purposes are to hope that our authorities will stop issuing budget hotel licenses with hourly or short time rated practice. We also hope our authorities will closed down such hotels with repeated drugs and prostitution related problems.
Once again, thanks for your kind attention.

I find this article well written and enlightening on modern-day human trafficking.
In my neighbourhood in Geylang ( Singapore ), the area has deteriorated over the area with street prostitution activities. While prostitution is legalised, soliciting is illegal in Singapore.
Among the street prostitutes, we notice there are Sri Lankan prostitution rings with pimps controlling and watching over the women for more than 3 years. The women are to solicit in the public walkways and then transact their sex deals in one of the licensed budget hotels providing hourly rated rooms.
Please see the videos and advise us what to do since our authorities are only focuing on arresting the girls....not the pimps or budget hotel operators who profited and knowingly facilitate the room services to the prostitution rings.
Are these videos depicting human trafficking by your definition?
