  You say, "And I think it's a little too early to pass too much judgment on her because she's only been at the job for a couple of years and that's barely enough time to make a dent in any school district, let alone one like Washington, D.C."
  
  Two years is long enough to alienate teachers, principals parents and the city council and that's just what she's done. 
  Two years is more than enough time for people to recognize a "my way or the highway" personality that is never effective in management. 
  
  Two years is long enough for people to see that she's failed at her only goal, which was to bust the union and fire  a bunch of inexperienced new college grads as her vision of how to reform DC Public schools. 
  
  Even if she had gotten her way, could this have ever worked?
