That should give you some insight into my philosophical leanings :)
I don’t think we need just more foreign aid…We also need technology, and by that I mean transferring technologies and expertise; partnering to build academic and business hubs in developing countries so that the engines of change are over there and not here. Most of all, we need to start learning how to use foreign aid as a tool for empowerment and not just an act of charity that breeds dependency and further vulnerability...
