Latifa commented on the petition |No one should have all their civil rights stolen from them just because they are old and need a little help. Since when has it become a crime to get old. That is what it must feel like to the elderly who are incarcerated under a guardianship system that is utterly broken. When guardianship is unwarranted it amounts to judicial kidnapping. Guardianship is supposed to be a LAST RESORT only to be used when there is no family available and willing to provide assistance. It is time to get these courts out of our families lives and it is time for these judges to stop allowing the unmitigated financial exploitation and looting of the elderly's estates by attorneys and guardianship out to make a cheap quick buck of some old person under the guise of protection and under the color of law.
