So many causes - so little time. I am overwhelmed by the injustices in the world. I am saddened, outraged and disgusted by what humans are capable of. For the life of me, I cannot understand how we have this marvelous planet, with incredible life and diversity, yet we have one species that is so intent on destroying it all, even members of their own.
My resolve is to not sit quietly. My goal is to encourage rational and compassionate thought by my words and actions. Knowledge is power, and real solutions can only come from a deep understanding of and commitment to our beautiful home, this fragile planet.

The Medical Center is being negligent, and I believe it, along with the doctors in support of this decision, are willfully allowing this man to die. I call this murder. People get operations all over the world, which saves their lives, but here in the great USA, we turn people away out of prejudice.

Barbara commented on the petition |Apple should be more concerned about its workers than making even bigger profits. If I was in any way connected to Apple, I would be outraged by what is happening in China, not to mention doing everything in my power to stop these horrible practices. Apple is wrong in believing that consumers are ONLY interested in the cheapest and the most technologically advanced products. NOT when it comes at the expense of human life. Apple is not a person, but those who run it should behave as though they were human. Sadly, it appears they do not. I'm glad I do not own anything made by Apple. I have no desire now to ever do so.
