I just recently found out while trying to get insurance for my pregnancy that the state of Nebraska no longer offers medical insurance to illegal alians even if they're pregnant women.
More power to them, make people do immigration right.
I hate to sound cruel, but if these people would immigrate to the U.S. legally, as hard as it may be, this issue would not exist.
And again, cruel as this may sound, it is not the problem of the United States government or the ICE that these women were raped en route to the U.S. illegally. They are criminals regardless of their sex and their situation.
You can be angry with what I said but it's true. How can they be sure that the women aren't just looking for a way out of the pregnancy, they can't even trust them to get a work visa.
Agreed. It's just like that story about the guy who hired someone on craigslist to rape his ex-girlfriend claiming it was a fantasy of hers.
An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind and all, but beating him within an inch of his life might give a little insight to this asshole.
Is that really the case though? For starters this is just a thought, and like he said, please don't crucify me either.
Why is there a connection between these children working and sexual crimes? What part of harvesting marijuana, coffee beans or even manufacturing clothing puts them in a vulnerable position? Most of these children are helping to feed their families. Is what you said, Alex, actually true, or the product of some overly obsessive sex-trafficking researcher who thought there might be a connection and wrote a book about it to scare the bejesus out of people who wear Nike?
Of course I don't think child labor is right, so please don't get me wrong, but why is it that so many people relate children working in third world countries to sex crimes and child prostitution?
I know there have got to be those real freaks out there who think that they own the children who work for them and therefore can do whatever they want with them. These kids are doing their bosses a service by working for them, wether it's voluntary or not and not to piss in your corn flakes but just because people are poor and uneducated does make them all heartless.
I guess the real question is, where did you learn that?
'cept it makes ya want cheezebergurs real badddd, man. xD
Just kidding, just kidding. Disregard that if at all possible. lol
It's wonderful to give these women the option to take off their masks (strictly metaphorical) but making them do it is wrong. My neighbor is Muslim and loves to wear her country of origins customary dress. She has many of them and they're beautiful.
"Sarcasm aside, banning burqas is as sexist as forcing women to wear them. I love what Juan Portillo commented. Why should anyone judge other cultures? I find it appalling too."
