All my life, I have taken for granted that, when I found my forever love, the most difficult thing I would experience would be running fast enough to catch him and drag him to the altar. LOL Seriously, when he and I do find each other in this big world, nothing is going to stand in our way when it comes to saying "I do!" and being pronounced married. But what if things were reversed and only same-sex unions were recognized as marriages--and what if these gay people just set out to pass laws to make other parts of our lives difficult as well? That would be sad, and, if this were so, I would want things to change--and, if they did change, I wouldn't want some laws to be passed that would make things like they were again. That's all gay couples are wanting. They aren't wanting to turn our kids gay or something sinister like that. They aren't even wanting to do away with the recognition of our heterosexual marriage. They only want what we already have and have taken for granted that we'd always have.
Two words come to my mind at the moment: ignorant, cruel
Cases like this just add to the need to make 2012 the year that capital punishment becomes a thing of the past!!!
I prefer my America with a "c" instead of a "k"
