  Core Knowledge and Class Size

  Clay due budget restraints in Kansas we will not purchase textbooks this year, which is fine with me, since I feel they are overrated.  Using our state standards, of which we are guided by on our state assessments, I have talked two teachers into doing our own textbooks using Brokenworld as our model.  Would Core Knowledge be something we should look at as a supplement for our curriculum and standards?  Can we ask for guidance from you in this endeavor?  I am going to purchase several books on blogging and wikispaces for these teachers to use.  Any suggestions?
