Liliana Alejandrez

My name is Liliana but everyone calls me Lilly. I am 17 and a senior at Las Cruces High School. I haved many good and bad experiences in my life, that I am willing to share if it is to help someone out. I am from Mexico but I've lived in the U.S. almost my whole life. I live to help others. I attend New Way Christian Center and teach and sing there. Last summer I attended the Hispanic Youth Symposium and it looks like I will be there as a volunteer this summer. I also was part of a Legislative Internship during February. I am also right now a strong supporter for the DREAM Act, I have been working hard in my city along with students. We will soon be part of a one week event in which we will be collecting signatures. I hope to become a legislator at some point in my life. =]
