The prsion systems don't care about the prisoners, or how they will react when they are released. All they care about is how much money they will make off each prisoner, and hey if its over crowded who care more money for them right. It all boils down to money.
Sounds a little like what is going on in Texas. I've been trying to get my son on SCHIPS for years and with the new economic stimulus that was put into place to get more children insured has failed here for sure. The guidelines have been changed once again and once again he doesn't qualify. I was hoping that he would because healthcare is expensive.
Thank you that was a very enlightening article. But I wasn't talking about rapists, I was just talking about the men who can't seem to be monogamous who cheat and bring diseases home. I used to work as a bartender at topless bar and I've seen how nasty married men and boyfriends are when there wives or girlfriends aren't around. Some men can't help themselves if a girl starts talking to them they will forget all about having a girlfriend or wife and hop right into bed. And those are the men that bring diseases home. And yes there are women out there who are just as bad. I think human trafficking is very sad, and it does need to be talked about so that people know it's out there because there are some very naive people in the world who don't know that its going on especially here in the U.S.

I don't use drugs or prostitutes. But i think both should be legal and regulated. They are always going to be around. What's right for one person may not be right for the other. I think weed/hemp should be legal for all its uses.
I think prostitution should be highly regulated like it is in Nevada. Most women who do it in Nevada do it because they know they can make money doing something they like to do. And if you don't like sex you are obviously doing it wrong. Prostitution is a little like dating because if you are a guy buying dinner and a movie and you get lucky you've just paid for it. There are a lot of diseases out there, and some men can't help themselves so if they are going to a regulated prostitute at least they aren't going to come home disease ridden, unlike the unlucky man who has to tell his wife or girlfriend what he did because he now has syphilis or aids. I don't condone cheating but it does happen.
As for prostitution creating more human trafficing i think it would go down instead. But there is going to be the one perv out there who will buy a child to satisfy an unnatural craving. I think drugs and prostitution should be legal and regulated, and the pervs who are buying children, molesting them or worse should be the ones in jail instead of the pothead who got caught with a joint or the john that couldn't keep it in his pants.
Most dental coverage only covers the basics anyway and then you are still stuck with a huge bill, crappy dentist who don't know what they are doing and your teeth end up in worse shape than before they started. thats been my dental expeirience.
