"He plans to save up the gas money to get to Oregon, where there's no sales tax. Every penny he can save will help."

How about WA losing the sales tax? Ooops! Can't do that. "It's for the common good".

Wasn't Socialist Stupidity and the "War on Poverty" supposed to end all this years ago? An interesting note:

"in our view, someone in an RV who is moving place to place ... is homeless,"

According to GoRVing.com, thousands and possibly a million people live in RVs full time. Are we supposed to believe that these people are actually homeless?

And where are the enviros on RVs?

  • John McCain's Daughter and Campaign Manager are Better than Most Democrats on Marriage

"But kudos for Schmidt and Meghan McCain for creating the space in the Republican party for same-sex marriage advocates."

Interesting. There are many of us gay Republicans and Conservatives who do just that, but we're routinely denounced as "self-loathing" or "Jews for Hitler" by the gay left. We routinely see more hatred and bigotry from the gay left than we ever do from those on the right.

As for Gary Allmon, that doesn't leave much to vote for. Can't think of any serious candidate for president in, at least, the last several elections who did support gay marriage. You'd be better off, and less disappointed, dropping that litmus test and putting more important issues first.

  • Nine Senators Want to Honor the Anti-LGBT (and Anti-Semitic) Paul Weyrich

"I know full well that Weyrich has never advocated, suggested or implied that anybody should harm Jews." - Evan Gahr

The Senate and/or House always have resolutions recognizing former members when they pass away. To not sign onto it would be shameful. To just ignore one's years of service to this country just because they said a few things you didn't like would be even more shameful.

Similarly, shall we not recognize Clinton since he signed the Defense of Marriage Act and Don't Ask/Don't tell? Would people not recognize the passing of "Screamin'" Howie Dean because of his comment on the 700 Club or for firing a gay man? It's absurd.
