My Name is Cindy and I am Undocumented

Hello Cindy, I relate to your story perfectly. I graduated from UHD in Houston TX two years ago. I earned a degree in Bilingual Education and I cannot work in my field because of my status. I also came to this country when I was 13 with a tourist visa which unfortunately expired. My only hope right now is to have the DREAM Act passed. I say, keep your spirits up. Something good will happen. As for me, I am going back to graduate school hopefully in the fall of this year. I don't want to waste any time.

DREAM Act Re-Introduced

I'm very excited about the DREAM ACT. I'm one of those people who came to this country at the age of 13 with a tourist visa, graduated high school, and finished a 4 year college degree. If the DREAM ACT gets through, I would do any volunteer work that they ask of me for that one chance to work in my field. I'm a person of good character, good moral, and do no harm.
