Tamilnadu government: Stop the shifting of Anna Library in Chennai

A Full fledged Library like this should'nt be undone for personal vendetta.... I request Ma'am Jayalalitha to set a precident that she is not the one who undoes all that her rival former Govt. did........ May Knowledge bestow upon her a better place for an International Children Hospital, (or rather, already there is one at Egmore, which can be made a World Class Children Hospital with half the expense, and for which the people of Tamil Nadu will be very grateful...... (the remaining money can be used to give Petrol, LPG to Low Income Group People at subsidised price ; ) ) which is also very welcome...........But, we plead to let a Library of this magnitude to remain.........

It is a consolidated complete place.......
Please note that not many people protested for changing the Secretariat to an Hospital...... But, here we feel that there is real reason for opposing the decision........

Please all Book Lovers unite and make our CM realize how much we need the ACL..... The Indian Green Building Council had issued Gold Rating to the library because of its energy efficiency.
Now, the shifting and remodeling is going to undo all good the eco friendly building has been doing...........
