Thank you Steve for telling it like it is. It's actually a lot worse than this. Many homeless people have mental illness and deserve a lot more compassion than is given. I was homeless and the mistreatment of the homeless already suffering pissed me off royally. When I talk to people about homelessness, their ignorance is excruciating. Someone actually told me that the homeless make a hundred dollars a day with their cardboard signs asking for help, as if he knew. Please, Steve, keep telling people what it's like. And, tell us how we can help. Thank you.
