It is very scary how the tamil minority population is kept behind razor-wire for long time and on the other hand, duplicitiousness of Sri Lankan regime to attarct atrocity vacations. 300,000 civilians in the camp includes 60,000 children who were herded by the military for the past two years depriving education and child livelihood. A UNICEF spokeman Mr. James Elder was expelled by Sri Lanka for voicing concerns about these children.
The areas where the tamil civilians pursued a simple life and the children played around is reportedly getting a major change demographically. Buildings of cultural importance to tamils have been destroyed and replaced with military complexes and monuments for dead soldiers.
There is stii no count on the civilian deaths. Journalists, aid group members and peace activists voicing against atrocities are either killed, incarcerated or expelled.
Tamils are made history with the silence of civilized world.
