Ha. I read this and realized you solved something for me. I built a deck of cards for thrivable.org, but I had not figured out how to pitch them - what was the pain or issue they solved. You nailed it: the frustration of not knowing how to honor our "obligation to those unseen" so the cards are tools to help us consider the unseen - or that which we are unaware of. Thanks!
Excellent post Nathan. The NonProfit Times states that this in this Top 50 "we celebrate some of the sector’s top executives and thinkers. These executives were selected for the impact they have now and for the innovative plans they are putting in place to evolve the charitable sector." I would hope that bloggers count as thinkers. :) But the list reads with one CEO after another.
Perhaps this is about two models clashing, different views of: what is power and influence?
