i fully believe that justice and peace are two sides of the same coin. you can't truly have one without the other. when people live under the false pretense of "peace", it is ultimately at the expense of others outside of their community. injustice is simply swept under the rug.

this way of doing things is ultimately unsustainable for true and lasting peace in our world. people without access to justice don't have access to peace either. this condition inevitably spreads into all societies.

in understanding and implementing justice, we have to really internalize and act up on "the golden rule". in everything we do or don't onto others, we need to have the mind-set that we are doing the same unto ourselves. a world without compassion is like a tree without water. it will eventually wither and die.
