    I'm a huge fan of instituting house arrest for nonviolent offenders. You could even charge those who take house arrest over prison a small fee per day. This could probably save boats of money. Furthermore, you can have access to the precise location of every prisoner at every time, making it easy to keep the system going.

    So cougars are both terrifying and "pathetic, groveling creatures"? I don't really understand what you are fighting here. Ms. Catrell is making a principled stand against a fad that she doesn't support, a respectable and commendable thing to do. However, the magazine has a story to put out and if their model doesn't want to cooperate with the editorial staff of the magazine, they are well within their rights to find somebody else. Are you suggesting that the magazine should have grovelled for Ms. Catrell to stay? The last time I checked, these magazines spout out garbage and look into the sex lives of anyone over 13.

    Continuing on this idea, is there any watchgroup which certifies labor practices as abuse free? Many products which use large amounts of electricity attempt to get a high efficiency rating; Buildings are constructed to be sustainible to get a good LEED rating. Is there anything similar with labor practices? It seems like an obvious thing to do...
