Linda Chavers

Currently earning my PhD in Black Studies at Harvard with future plans to bridge the academic and real-world classrooms by revolutionizing how we communicate and how we can learn. My career goals are diverse but remain centered on social-justice. Ideally I'd like to teach community-based courses such as literature with literacy programs in local prisons or women and gender course on the body with required volunteering at the local rape crisis centers, et cetera. I'd love to work for progressive think tanks based on education or public policy.
