I am an artist, writer and composer with Asperger's syndrome and a mom of two children on the autistic spectrum. I co-founded autistic culture movement in UK to help promote a positive profile of people on the autistic spectrum and encourage the support of autistic children to realise their full potential, be more accepted despite their 'difference' and become independent and valued members of society.

I say, stop demonising autism! Don't make a Hitler out of a canary: yellow birds are 'different' but it doesn't make them wrong.
