  Pres. Obama, Korea is No Argument for Longer School Hours

  I agree with everyone that has responded.  Before we move into trying to extend the school days, shouldn't we focus on making the current 7-8 hour day more exciting so that we can decrease our current drop-out rate.  Based on a report in 2006, "Silent Epidemics:  Perpsectives of High School Dropouts" most students drop out because classes were not interested. 
  
  So combine boring classes with longer schools days what does that produces...more students dropping out.
