Thank you for your reply and for your sympathy. Yes, I did file a complaint against him, but he is still practicing without a hitch. And your right... it definately was malpractice. An occupational therapist that my son was seeing stated that he has heard my story several times before... all concerning the same doctor.
I shouldn't have tried to compare my situation with the findings in this article. Im just afraid that other doctors are doing the same thing to other patients across the board... which would affect the outcome of the research being done on vaccines (combo vaccines in particular).
Thanks again... and hope y'all have a nice day :)
I have read your article and appreciate your research, but I happen to be one of those parents that is blaning my son's autism on a vaccine.
After my son's combo vaccine at age 9 months, he had convulsions. I took him back to the doctor and was told" That happens sometimes. After he turns 3, we will be able to determine if he has any issues (delays)"
Next vaccine, same thing. Convulsions along with trouble hearing, still couldnt crawl, couldnt talk, etc. He had all the classic symptoms of Autism... but I didnt even know what that was. I took kim back to the doctor again to report his "seizures". This doctor said again, "You must be patient & wait until he is 3. We cannot determine a developmental delay until he is 3".
Unfortunately, I stayed with that doctor until my baby was almost 3. When we got better insurance, I switched. My new doctor said that the previous one should have filed a report to the national vaccine agency, where cases like mine are reported to help research the problems with vaccines.
Well, you may have already guessed... he NEVER reported any problems. If your child gets sevierly damaged by a vaccine, this national vaccine agency can provide financial compensation to the victim. But the only way to recieve help is if the problem is reported within 2 years of the onset. Since my doctor was pushing me to drop the issue for "2 more years"... I whole heartedly believe it was not a coincidence.
The moral... sometimes you cannot believe the doctors records. Some can omit/change info in order to have a clean record... at the expense of our children.
My son is now 6 years old. The school system is shocked that he fell thru the cracks... since I have been reporting his problems for 5 years. Bless all those parents out there that are going through what I did... and still am.
