  But sometimes life happens.  Can't we just get a break?  What are you so worried about it for?  You think the payment for my husband's sin (mind you he was a 15 year old child when he crossed the border) should be to punish my whole family?  We're more than willing to pay a fine.  Do you not understand the irony of this?  You (people who think "undocumented immigrants should be deported) are trying to take away my husband!!!  What if someone was trying to take your spouse?  It's like civil rights never even happened!!!  Besides that, he'd be back anyway.  I can "fix" his papers. What I'm saying is that you don't understand what is really going on here.  You don't have a dog in the fight.  Do you know that as his wife, I have the right to apply for citizenship for him.  Only thing is that untill the paperwork goes through, We have to just WAIT.  And since he came here without a visa, he's expected to just go back to his native country and WAIT for his visa.  What gets me is that there is no time limit for this.  He'd get to come back anyway.  Why punish all of us for nothing by making my children wait for a father?  That's stupid.  Like I say,  We are WILLING TO PAY FINES.  That should make everyone happy!  Seeing as y'all want more money anyway.  I don't get it.  Are you just anti-my happiness?

  Don't you still have food on your table, don't you still have electricity to run your computer, don't you have a house to have your computer in, don't you have enough money to pay for your internet service?  I bet you've never had to go without anything in your whole life.  So what are you whining about?  Nobody's trying to deport YOUR spouse or the mother/father of your children!  I'll tell you what.  If my husband got deported, could me and my 4 kids come and live in your house?  You'll support us if he ever has to go cuz I promise you I'll run the welfare system dry.  It is my right. Would you prefer I keep my husband, or would you like to support us?  I'd like to know what you thought about God and Jesus.  Would you say that to Jesus if HE was in your country illegally?  I got it!  If you don't like drug dealers, let's just lock up all the addicts right?  That's about the equivalent of the idea.  After the drug dealer's gotten rich what does he need the addicts for?

  I think the labels of Democrat, Republican, and Independent is just any easy way to further divide an already rediculous in this "one nation under God".  What's the point?  I don't fit in any box.  Just because I vote for someone, doesn't mean I agree with everything they say.  You know,  alot of people want to descriminate against undocumented immigrants.  Ok, well it's a nice thought to try and rewind and secure our borders, but it's just idle talk.  It didn't happen and there are people here.  ALOT OF PEOPLE. Alot of those people are married to, or have children by American citizens.  OK, here's another thought.  If I got white sand in one hand, and black soil in another, and I mix them,  can you seperate them?  I don't think so.  It's rediculous to think that you could honestly house, process, and deport so many immigrants.  Do you know how many are here?  Do you know what that would REALLY do to our already hurting economy?  So how many more families do you need on welfare?  Cuz it's gonna happen if every one gets deported.  American citizen children who would get deported with their parents would live in poverty.  And for what?  So people left here would have more MONEY?!  That's crazy.  Its like if 80% of the population agreed on one common idea.  Even if the government didn't like it, doesn't majority rule?  They can't lock up all of us! (Americans)  Personally, I think it should be illegal to be super mega uber rich.  With all the starving people in the world, and people so much in need, why do people spend so much money on junk!  Face it.  This country's gotten greedy.  What ever happened to brotherly love.  I think the more money you have, the more taxes you should pay.  I think politicians should make $20 an hour, maybe more of them would WORK rather than just run their mouths.  The only PORK I think should be in our "bills" should be the kind cooked and fed to the homeless.  People here really need to get their priorities in order.  I'm telling you, belive me or not, what goes around comes around.  Keep on talking smack...  I used to know a man who was a real anti-black, racist.  Well, he changed his mind when his daughter had a bi-racial baby.  God has a way of working theese things out.  Y'all keep on praying.  Like I said,  if we got God, what could they really do?

  I shouldn't have to suffer or be persecuted for what most would say was a bad decision. But let me explain.  If we really stand on what we say that we stand for then that means, I should have the freedom to raise a family in the protection of my country.  I suppose you would say that it was a bad decision to marry someone who was illegal in the country.  I guess I should've married a really old rich man, and enticed him into a heart attack right?  You wouldn't have anything to say about that would you?  I shouldn't have to live in fear of the "law" ripping my family apart.  Life happens.  If your parents were starving, and you were 15 years old, wouldn't you risk life and limb to take care of someone you love?  Let me repeat...no one is perfect...sorry to tell you Mark, you are not perfect either.  But should so many people suffer from an action that wasn't even criminal?  If the United States doesn't follow the Bible (what's morals it was founded upon) it will be as it says.  A house divided will not stand.  I DO think my country owes me the right to my own pursuit of happiness.  If they won't legalize my husband, I say it's a violation of my rights as a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.  What, should I go find someone else just cuz my situation is inconvenient?  Ha, that's why the divorce rate is so high.  Real Love will stick it out no matter what!  Aint that right Melissa?!  We're not going anywhere.  We're not going anywhere!

  Obama Aide Sketches Timeline for Immigration Reform

  I think the "Hispanics" you may be refering to are the prodominantly "brown" color.  Which, to me, I don't care where you are from, cuz I'm not prejudice.  My dad's white, and I get mistaken for latina all the time. 
  
  But just to let you know...before the "European Invasion" that you would like to consider as Chistopher Columbus aka Cristobal Colon discovering "America" all of this hemisphere was covered in people's who were and sometimes still called Indians.  (I still don't understand why the name stuck.)  
  
  But as a member of a "dying and yet romanticized culture"  I think people need to just take a chill pill.  Alot of "white" people act like dark skinned spanish speaking people are trying to take over or something. 
  
  All I'm trying to say is that this land once upon a time ago didn't belong to white people.  And now this land belongs to all the people.  Truthfully, the land belongs to God, and instead of turning this into a human right's issue, people need to just learn to love and respect people in their likeness and their differences.  I do believe at the rate we're having children and the amount of interracial, intercultural, intercolor marriages, their will not be a majority or minority at all.  What's so wrong with that?  We'll probably all learn to speak at least some form of "Spanglish" within the next 10 years, and so what?  Didn't Spanish and English both come from Latin? 
  
  I'd like to understand what you call natural.  Are you framiliar with the Indian Removal?  Just to clue you in, All 5 civilized tribes known today as "Cherokee Nation"  (including Cherokee, Chickasaw, Seminole, Creek, and Choctaw) were forced to move from their homeland because something like it was "illegal for a state to be errected within a state"  so instead of being HUMANE OR NATURAL the white government of the time ordered all Indians relocate to the territory of OKLAHOMA  They made the people WALK from the southeastern states all the way to Oklahoma, and in effect most people died from starvation, exhaustion, or exposure. Do you think that was desirable?  Do you know why it's called Oklahoma?  It's a word that means "red people"  Now, please forgive me for resenting what you said about how this nation always had a white majority.  Maybe so, after people like Andrew Jackson had made their fame for being "Indian Killers"
  
  On our reservations, most of the children don't even know the native languages.  We speak English cuz it was forced on us.  But we don't moan and groan about it now.  If people back in the day would've complained, they were either shot like dogs, thrown in jail, raped, beaten, or their children were thrown in boarding schools where they were then taught to speak, read, and write English, read the Bible, and yet they were beatent and called "heathens" "savages" and "pagans"  
  
  We were called "Red" people, but in actuality, we are like Hispanics, "Brown" people.  In our views, the only thing that seperates us from the Mexicans is a border, and languages that were not Native to either one of us.  Oh yeah, by the way, Indians and White is not the same.  Can you blame me for resenting your comment?  If you call my mother white, she will slap you!  
  
  And if you'd like to look it up, the Indian Removal happened during the mid 1800's.  I don't know how to post links yet.
