I have finally come to terms with the many contradictions I have long recognized in our society. After beginning to read many tracts of leftist ideology, including books by C. Wright Mills, William Blum, Jacob Weisburg, Michael Parenti (in particular), Thom Hartmann, Naomi Klein and others, I've come to understand how these contradictions have developed and occurred. They are no accident! They are in fact engineered by the Owning Class.

I have settled on an ideology for myself that is pretty far to the left, certainly a few notches to the left of our greatest president so far. I truly am a great supporter of Barack Obama, who I believe to be a man of truly great character and competence. My only concern is that he may not go far enough.

My primary interests are social, legal and economic justice for all. In particular I am and have long been strongly opposed to the Drug War and the numerous injustices and great harm to many it has caused.
