    The insurance companies need to be over hauled.  Their definitions determine what health care opportunities a person will recieve no matter how dire the situation.  It makes sense to me to give doctors the power to decide which treatments will help the patient the most, prescribe them, and the insurance companies would fill the doctors prescription for that specific patient.  As it stands the insurance companies control which treatments a patient will recieve and when.  When did the insurance companies become the doctor.  I did realize they went to medical school.  I feel like our medical care is not based on medical facts but on profits, dollars, and cents.  I have a chronic illness myself and I have to work out of network.  According to the insurance company my illness does not exist.  Last time I checked I do.  Who will put the drug companies and insurance companies in their places?
