Timothy commented on the petition |I have CP, and I work with children who have developmental disabilities. How dare a doctor presume he or she has the right to play God with human life! Every child has a right to live, and every life has value. This is beyond outragious! I do not believe in sueing people to solve things, but this is an exception. This is disgraceful that something like this could happen in the 21st century in America

Timothy commented on the article |We need to improve No Child Left Behind for all of our children. The most critical need is in special education, where we have been underfunded for years. I work with a student who has cp. Until the beginning of this year, the school didn't even have a proper slant board to assist him with writing. We were using an old clip board taped on a ring binder so he could do his school work. This is inadaquate, to say of the least. The government throws Billions or even Trillions of dollars of hard earned tax money into other countries, but we aren't even giving our children, The Future of Our Nation, the tools they need to suceed. This is not acceptable! We need more resources, We need a revamped and improved Life Skills program for those that need these skills. If we are going to invest in America's future, like it was promised, Let's start by investing in ALL of our children, and in their future!
