Thissocial bcrisis of crime and violent criminality was layered on to Canadian society under fraudulant circumstances most like for the keeping from our shores immigrant cultures which used this benign substance.
The history surrounding prohibition is a legacy of failed intervention into what in the end is a normal mechanism of natural selection listen to/ read the document I currently have been the courts up here in an attempt to change these crime causing laws. Listen to my (mp3 on my blog) use of Michael Crichton's argument on "Fear complexity..." as how the linear solution of Ptrohibition is always doomed to fail for a comple problem like control of human addictions.
It is based on my rights to use reason science for the safety of society "Institutionalized Idiocy" to keep drug dealing from our playgrounds. What do you think?
On a personal level I try to be non materialistic and consumer driven. I am gasoline free and try for the smallest, kindest footprint in my personal life hoping that there will be more for others. I don't access government resources for myself and try to fend for myself.
I believe that rather than focus on military and world aggression a nation should do the best to care for it's own people in peace with others.
Personal knowledge of the homeless in my neighborhood convinces me that they are systematically pigeon holed into their present crisis through government agencies errors and misdirection. The sloughing off of responsibility of society for those of fragile existence is a symptom of things to come : a canary in the mine shaft

I am an environmental scientist and personally have given up my addiction to gasoline 5 years ago. I am also an activist in many areas and understand the value of marketing. Yet, in my opinion, there is a requirement that we stay honest and not ratchet up fear unnecessarily. Listen to my critique of Michael Crichton's talk on "Fear, complexity" and its application to my other causes. As a soaring pilot and someone who has had an open mind all my life, I am tired of crisis marketing in general and want a more balanced honest information promotion.
Where this campaign really counts and where it will succeed or fail is in the hearts of individuals. Fear in large panicky amounts is not conducive to our cause. Speaking with your neighbors and showing by example that the simple way, leaving consumerism behind on an individual basis is the best way. Promoted through ration discussion by individuals, the lead in time and effect on a society can be immediate and overwhelming compared to government process.
In Canada we have discovered many cases of wronful convictions which were directly atributable to poor policing or corrupt justice.
I currently have my own battle against the police state up here with many podcasts and writings on my blog.
Up here we are having police getting away with murder.
I always get the doggie that needs an owner at the time we cross paths. lucked out with a Samoyed, Arctic Wolf cross who is the talk of the town.
He features large in my life and writings/podcasts and I have some nice pics up on my blogs.
I wish more people would be happy to take what comes along in life without so much trying to control everything.
Love the one you are with, who comes along.
Sometimes you don't learn these things till later in life.
It's too bad that the nation feels that it should be able to seconnd guess every one of the presidents choices, no matter how trivial.
This is the surest way to hamstring a leader and dilute anyones confidence and effectiveness. Get a life and make your own decisions (hopefully wise ones) and let others make their own as well. This is natural, then histroy can judge later what kind of a president he was. I think everyone should live their own lives more and allow others their own learning porocess.
