I see Occupy Harvard as the latest and most current manifestation in the ongoing struggle for social justice at Harvard itself, and regarding Harvard's relation to the larger world. This goes back to student movements during the late 1960s (my own time), and the living wage campaign, in which my son participated. While one can perhaps quibble over minor aspects of these efforts, it is good to see Harvard students and faculty engaged, once again, with the larger issues of our time, and the ongoing effort to improve both our economy and our democracy.
