Carolyn commented on the petition |It's past time. The man is almost 80 yrs old, is under federal investigation I believe, and did not do his job. On top of that he has cost Maricopa County about $50 million dollars in lawsuits where his department's actions were so egregious that they were settled out of court. Then he "mispent" (aka illegally appropriated) $100 million in taxpayer money. He's a bully and now evidence shows that Sheriff Joe Arpaio's top men ran an illegal campaign-finance scheme to benefit their boss' 2008 race. Over 400 rape cases ignored? ENOUGH!
