I am currently the Associate Director of, and an instructor in, the College Park Scholars Public Leadership program at the University of Maryland, College Park, where in 2007 I started my PhD in Public Policy. I am concentrating in international development with a special interest in human rights and international education policy. In 2005 I graduated from Georgetown University with an MS in Foreign Service concentrating in international conflict management, and a certificate in Refugee and Humanitarian Emergencies. I graduated as valedictorian from Syracuse University in 2000 with BAs in Television/Radio/Film, English and Textual Studies, and French. I have also taught in Brazil and in an urban night school in Massachusetts.
