The President of the United States: Condemn India’s violation of freedom of speech and human rights in Punjab

Because India must live up to its moniker as the "world's largest democracy." Imposing a media blackout, enforcing section 144 to ban the public gathering of 5 or more persons, opening fire on unarmed civilians and picking up and beating those who challenge police authority are deeply anti-democratic developments. The world is watching and India must show that its minorities have a place within its union.
