Daphne Comeau

I am a mother of one and have a bachelor's degree in Leadership and Organizational Studies and Social and Behavioral Science. I see my education a vehicle through which I can explore and express my place as a citizen of the world.

Within my global existence, however, there lives a member of a smaller community. I am a mother, a daughter, a sister, a PTA supporter, a consumer(ugh), a voter.

A student grows and gains when s/he is part of change in her community. A community grows and changes when it affects those within it. I work for the Office of Community Service Learning on my campus. It is my belief that Service Learning is to education what vocation is to life: the place where great educational goals meet the great needs of the community.
