U.S. to Deport Woman to Certain Torture at the Hands of Her Husband

When you break the law you are punished. I wonder what her next foray into lawbreaking may be. She was supposed to be deported in 2006 and it's now 2010. What's taking so long?

Her government has the right to protect her, not the USA. When she is returned it will be El Salvador who will protect her.

Ashley, I'm not sure where you were raised but on the East Coast it has always been chocolate. CHOCOLATE. chocolate! Any kind, just chocolate. Hersheys Kisses or Bars, Mr. Goodbar, Kit Kat, 3 Musketeers, etc.

Backyard Gardens Are Controversial—Even in Berkeley, California

I'll shut down my vegetable garden in my backyard when they pry the tomatoes and peppers from my cold dead hands.

When they outlaw backyard vegetable gardens only outlaws will have vegetables.

Aside from the humor I find the laws ridiculous and offensive. Although I give my friends and neighbors much of my harvest, I should be permitted to sell it. I garden for the love of it and for the tasty fresh vegetables and love to share my bounty.
