I believe in strict separation of Church and State and believe in human dignity and value.

Mary commented on the petition |Because it is the right thing to do. Trayvon deserves justice. Everyone does. This must not happen again but as long as these insane "Stand your ground" laws exist, I am afraid it will continue to happen.

Mary commented on the petition |Rape is a hate crime. It should not be rationalized by "What did you expect?" It must be prosecuted and our male soldiers need to be educated. We are desensitizing a lot of our military by sending them into harms way over and over. We see the results in this and other ways -PTSD and other emotional problems like "kill teams", desecrating corpses, etc.
