Agreed. However, why is it so easy for homosexuals to see the anti-Christian behavior in condemnation that leads to violence (and it most certainly is anti-Christian); yet they fail to see the anti-Christian behavior in themselves -- in a society that is already struggling to stay morally afloat?

Kay -- I see the fire. I see it as much as I see the breathtaking disgrace in Sara Kruzan's victimization. What the hell?  Heaven help the the innocent  people who get caught in the mire of jurisprudence. I heard an ADA say, "Well, the system is not perfect....."  That means, if a DA can make a case against a completely innocent person, so be it.

The Palestinians have mastered the art of playing the victim; nothing could be further from the truth.

Good cause, Alison -- every little bit helps. Life is a rite of passage. It would be deceiving to suggest that passing a bill will usher in paradise. Not in this world where everything, everywhere spews negative energy. From the endless wars to watching well educated grown men turn into animals on the campaign trail. This is the example they set. Let's face it, to some extent becoming a man, or a woman, does require toughening. The transitional teenage interval is fertile ground for gaining the proper survival skills to proceed successfully into the future. Lately it seems we have taken up the cause to encourage males to femininity; and then figure out how to sell that to society. With these additional complications we may be running on overload very soon.  You are suggesting more than good manners, you are telling everyone to adopt your world view. The ramifications of embracing homosexuality goes much further than meets the eye.

  • Gay Student Teacher Fired for Saying He Wanted to Marry a Man?

So it's shame on anyone who objects to homosexuality? I don't think so. Many believe that homosexuality is a "good" thing. People like this student teacher expect to be able spew out to young people things that most people find repulsive. They expect to go unchallenged. Ostensible heterosexuals believe they are helping them, when in fact their blood is on the hands of those who encourage them.  You pretend you don't hear that we have another opinion -- a opinion that recognizes God and natural processes. We believe that we are all sinners -- all of us; but we try to overcome our shortcomings. Homosexuals are the only sinners that are trying to legitimize what they do. Psychology and psychiatry are impotent against this illness; but there are significant cases that definitely work. Homosexuals simply do not want to change. Last night on Larry King a young lady insisted she was a Christian and gay -- theologically speaking, this statement can never ever be true. Someone else said don't hate Black people or homosexuals. Nothing could be more offensive to a Black person. Outrageous. Another attempt to legitimize this thing. Don't worry about Black people; they have come a long way and going forward. The responsibility of a Christian is to love one another; to have respect for one's humanity. Committed Christians do their best to stay faithful to the word of God, by being obedient to it. You can't possibly expect them to coddle sin. God rarely used the word "abomination," to be exact, He used it 176 times, which is relatively few compared to the body literature. When He uses it He is making a point that cannot be overlooked. the Messiah Jesus was kind and compassionate; but never, ever compromised with sin. He was here to change it, to free us from it -- far more fulfilling than anything you think is making you "happy" now in this fallen state.

  • The “Ground Zero Mosque” Is a Good Thing
Mark commented on the article | over 1 year ago

Astounding! You refer to people who refuse to agree with this Mosque as hateful, ignorant, and fearful? This is too much. The far Left and the far Right are equally absurd. "it will be seen as a sign of whether America can make peace with Islam." This statement is the denotation of ignorance. Have you read the Koran? When Jesus spoke of the sword, He was referring to the "Sword of the Spirit." Islam clearly means a literal physical sword. They are the ones who hate -- with a passion. My life, for one of many, has been threatened several times by Islamics for witnessing the Gospel -- to Christians and Jews. These people have a psychotic hate for the Jews. They went out of their way to intervene and threaten my life just for my freedom of speech. I am not the only one by far. And don't think this behavior is relegated to a few "radicals." The Koran is the radical element in the Islamic culture. It sanctions their behavior; so they do what they do with impunity.

In response to Skye N -- Your comment is a good one, and an honest one; however, you went over your head if you are referring to Judeo-Christianity as "a ridiculous religion." It is wise not to criticize that which you have not studied thoroughly. And since Evolution, which appears to be the Atheist's alternative, is utterly unscientific and so far beyond  ridiculous, Judeo-Christianity is the most comprehensive, verifiable, logical piece of literature given to mankind.

Slavery has existed throughout human history. Why? Because of the darkness within all of us. In a nutshell -- the devil's only power is through the disobedience of mankind to God's perfect standard. There will of course be people who will scoff at this statement -- which actually supports my point.
