Civil rights pioneer Dr. Bernard LaFayette has been carrying out nonviolence training and reconciliation work in Nigeria for several years. The government has backed this peacebuilding work. Now they need to further support peace in Nigeria by dropping the trumped up charges against these labor activists and release Osmond Ugwu and Raphael Elobuike. Do the right thing.

New Hampshire State Legislators: Don't Repeal the Freedom to Marry

I think the Marine said it best...there he was fighting to preserve freedom and here in the United States, LGBT people predominantly don't yet have the freedom to marry a person of the same sex. What hypocrisy as a nation! New Hampshire had the courage to "do the right thing" when they originally passed legislation to allow same sex couples to marry. Stay courageous, New Hampshire voters and continue to protect this freedom.
