Apple: Protect Workers Making iPhones in Chinese Factories

My husband and I are dedicated "mac people" and between us we own 2 ipads, a MacBook Pro, an iMac, several ipods, and an iphone 4S. We are also activists-- vegan, Occupy supporters, and outspoken grassroots lobbyists for fair treatment of all living beings.

I'm disgusted to learn about the conditions under which my Apple devices are manufactured. The suffering of others lessens my ability to enjoy my mac products; I'm deeply saddened that what I thought was a socially responsible company has sunk to allow such reprehensible de-facto slavery. My family will not be supporting, through purchase, Apple products again until this matter is successfully resolved.
