more fiscally conservative & and a conservor of resources. Socially progressive. i have had a strong social conscience all my life- it came thru the umbilical cord - my mother was a social worker. (in the '30's). Iam a Master Gardner with my own business in landscaping and a reiki Master with a private practice in defusing stress using One Brain and teaching classes. I have an MS in Child Dev, having taught at many levels (incl Fam & Consumer Sciences aka Home Economics). Love animals, cats esp, and singing and swimming. I have a grown son. I ran for Congress in 2004 - wom Dem primary; have run for 2 other offices, the first one I won as an elected supervisor for the county Soil & Water Conservtion Board. I also work for the city of Morganton Rec Dept managing community gardens, organizing Earth Day event; as well as garden/landscaping services for certain rec areas.

Tell LEGO to stop selling out girls! #LiberateLEGO

Let's give girls more credit and better role models, too. I loved building things when I was a lttle girl - Lincoln logs, tinker toys, and erector sets - I spent hours esp with Lincoln logs!And I really liked the "boy toys" like rains and rr tracks; and esp even as an older elem age child, palying with a younger friends "steam shovel 'cause i could ride it! I also liked my dolls, esp the "model doll becasue I cd make clothes for it.

this is outrageous; an abuse of their power. We have wildlife rehab specialists who are higly skilled at what they do and need to be free from this assault on their own property!
