Yes, Sandra! The Bible has a few references to specific behaviors, but if you want to hole up for a few weeks, try counting the number of times "love" is mentioned. I think the Bible is only one of many wonderful scriptures, and they all focus on love, the golden rule, and compassion. THe other stuff is secondary. If we based our political system on these types of instructions in the bible, we'd be offering our sisters to be raped by strangers if we felt threatened, implementing eye for an eye in every case, outlawing pork, the list goes on.
