Tell Ohio Elected Officials: Support the Fracking Moratorium Bills!

I support tougher regulations of fracking. I especially support the increased testing and chemical disclosure requirements.

However, this bill is problematic because (as I understand it, though I may be wrong), it (1) allows the EPA to go any place a well is located at any time, without an exception for private residences, and (2) the burden to report to the state is on the owner of the property, which is not necessarily the owner of the well.

In the whole, it's a good beginning to better Ohio regulation.
