I have always been a healer at heart.

I first found home in a cooperative natural foods warehouse in 1980. Then, with 2 coop friends, we launched Equal Exchange in 1986.

In 2000, I left EE, looking for new challenges and spent several years as a consultant working across the International Fair Trade movement. I became an integral component of some truly great projects but missed the passion and collaboration of creating an organization. So when Red Tomato called, wanting me to help launch a US Fair Trade tropical fruit company, I answered. Soon, I jumped in fully as CEO.

In December 2008, I turned management of Oke USA over to my friends at Equal Exchange. Oke needed the infrastructure and resources of EE to continue the long journey of making the banana industry more Oke.

Now, I am talking and thinking with lots of folks all over the planet as I open to the cosmic call and allow my next dream to emerge so I can once again work to turn dreams into reality.
