Joanne Picray

I am an attorney and I currently work for Asista Immigrant Assistance, helping the national experts provide legal assistance to providers of services to immigrant survivors of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking. I have always felt very strongly about women's rights/women's issues, and I have also gained an appreciation of what immigrants bring to our communities and cultures, as well as what many of them go through to get here, and after they arrive, as people who live in the shadows.
