I have been involved in work for both non-profits and the public sector, having interests in issues ranging from international affairs, global issues, public and economic policy, youth policies, civic participation, non-profit and public management, law (EU and international law).

I've studied and worked in Bucharest (Romania) and in New York (The United States), having obtained a BA in Politcs, with a concentration in international relations.

I am a passionate blogger and communicator and I believe in strengthening the capacity of governments worldwide in addressing the increasingly complex problems of their citizens.

I am currently working in consulting, with a focus on strategies and operations for the public sector.

Wisdom Nugget: "Learn and Adapt"

With the recession coming up everywhere in the world, it's obvious that multinationals will cut the budgets they normally employ for CSR, so a way out for non-profits would be expanding their self-financing mechanisms (or implementing ones, where there aren't any), so pretty much exploring social entrepreneurship.
